These terms apply when you use E85 Labs (the website at e85labs.com and the installable app). By using it, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use E85 Labs.
Estimates only
E85 Labs gives estimates based on the values you enter. Real results depend on things the app can't know, including:
- The actual ethanol content of the fuel you buy. E85 varies by station and season, and pump gas labels aren't exact. Test your fuel with an ethanol content tester when you can.
- How accurate your fuel gauge, tank size, and other inputs are.
- How much fuel actually goes into your tank at the pump.
Your vehicle is your responsibility
You are responsible for what you put in your vehicle. Only run fuel blends that your vehicle, fuel system, and engine tune are set up for, and follow the guidance of your tuner and your vehicle's manufacturer. E85 Labs is not tuning advice and doesn't know your vehicle's setup.
Station information
Station locations and details come from public data and may be incomplete or out of date. A station may have closed, changed hours, or run out of E85. Check before you drive there.
No warranty
E85 Labs is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or available at any particular time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, E85 Labs and its owner are not liable for any damage to your vehicle or engine, fuel costs, or any other direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of E85 Labs or reliance on its results or data.
Accounts
Accounts are optional. Keep access to your email secure, since sign-in codes are sent there. Don't misuse the service, for example by trying to access other people's data, overloading it, or automating sign-in requests. We may suspend or remove accounts that do. You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top. Using E85 Labs after an update means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your place of residence requires otherwise.
